Maltese Weather

Malta is known for its Mediterranean location and its 300 days of sunshine. However, despite commonly held perceptions for its eternal summer, it does have a rainy winter season that usually starts in October and continues until February or April, depending on the year.

Maltese winter is warmer than continental winters, as it has no snow and temperatures rarely fall below 10 degrees Celsius. However, humidity levels are often in the 90s, which, combined with the strong winds, can make for a very unpleasant time if you are not dressed appropriately.

A trick with Learning Apps

One of the many cool features of Learning Apps is the fact that you can group apps into a sort of folder and link your students just to that folder. You can give it a background image and structure and rename it according to your needs, thus making sure that your students only have access to the apps you want them to see. Below is an example of an App Matrix.

This could be used as an introduction to a literature lesson or to a reading lesson on the topic of famous literary characters.
It can be continued with an exercise on imagining a day in the life of specific characters.
