Sports in Malta
Malta has a dry climate in summer (no rain) and mild winters with a lot of rain and wind, so it is not the best for open-air sports. However, it is a perfect place for water sports like snorkelling, scuba-diving or windsurfing.
Blue Lagoon
One of the most popular swimming spots in Malta is the Blue Lagoon. The lagoon is on the island of Comino and it's only reachable by boat. It is famous for its crystal-blue waters, as its bottom is made of white sand. It attracts thousands of tourists every summer.
Locals tend to visit it with their yachts or by renting a private boat for a day.
